Artist Bio

Erin King Ma (they/them) was born and raised in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, before moving to New York for college. They attended the University of Rochester, and graduated Cum Laude in 2023, with a B.S. in Brain and Cognitive Science, and a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy.

After graduating, they turned to something more creative and began making art. They are a self-taught artist working primarily with ink and acrylic paint on canvas and digital art, but are expanding into screen printing and other mediums. They have shown work at the “Our Way 2024” gallery show, celebrating LGBTQIA+ artists, at the West End Art Center in New Jersey, and been privately commissioned.

Their work utilizes lots of mystical and alchemical symbology from across a myriad of traditions and is meant to be a means for people to actively engage within themselves to consciously construct their reality through collapsing various superpositional states of experience.

They hope to show people a new possible future, full of unconditional love, and human evolution. Their pieces are made to reflect the broader Universe and our place in it, as well as, try to illuminate what it means to be on this Earth.
